The Pendleton Residence, originally designed by John Elgin Woolf, stands as a pinnacle of the Hollywood Regency style. Renamed Woodland, it once belonged to Robert Evans, serving as a hub for industry negotiations and hosting legendary parties throughout the producer’s vibrant life. Recognized as a historic landmark by the City of Beverly Hills in 2019, the estate is undergoing meticulous restoration by Timothy Bryant Architect. Drawing from the archives at the University of California Santa Barbara, original designs and documentation are being utilized to faithfully recreate lost or damaged elements, including the iconic pool house and surrounding structures.
